Guided walking tour – Hiking with the Club Vosgien - exploratory loop along the water, from park to…
The Green Belt is another way to discover the city, with nature and water as a common thread. On this unique territory, the will is to preserve the natural heritage, to limit the development of constructions, to disengage gradually the grounds to offer more spaces of walks surrounded by parks, gardens and places to reclaim nature. The Club Vosgien Strasbourg and the City of Strasbourg wanted to create six new courses on the great ring of the Green Belt, discovery courses on various themes (water and canals, gardens and vegetable farms, historical architectural heritage) as part of the European Heritage Days. Within this vast territory, there is a 20 km walking belt, which allows to discover unusual aspects of Strasbourg. The hike of the Green Belt can be done all year round and presents, according to the seasons, different aspects: the flowering in spring, the shading and the freshness of the streams in summer, the colors of autumn and the unobstructed views in winter.
