EIRE 6 Howth is in its third year of presenting a 'walk and talk' to the community and visitors to Howth Head who wish to understand the history and heritage of the EIRE signs and the story of the restoration sign EIRE 6. Our group member Conn Redmond also of Howth Pathways, will present the free walk and talk his year. He will cover the story of the foundation of the EIRE signs around Ireland in 1943 to the present day sign and what has happened since our presidential launch in 2022. Thousands of walkers are educated from the information board at the site, in the most beautiful setting in nature, that of the east mountain, Howth.
