'Heritage at Play', presented by Jessica Farrell, Brick Artist, is a day-long, drop-in style event which offers LEGO fun for all ages. The event features: Examples of Irish heritage-themed LEGO brick art on display for all the family to enjoy. Two 'Heritage At Play' hands-on building activities for children aged 9+ 'Build a High Cross' and 'Construct the Village Pump'. A fun, creative activity for children aged 7+ 'Create Your Own Irish Wildflowers'. There will be a big LEGO brick pit for a family building challenge, ages 5+ 'Build a National Landmark' A DUPLO play pool is provided for younger children, ages 1-4. Activities are facilitated on a rolling, walk-in basis from 10:30am to 4:30pm. Play models were funded by The Heritage Council.
