Overview

Dedicated to Saint Martin de Tours, the church has a single nave with a right-bedside vaulted with ribs, preceded by a rustic awning. This architecture is typical of the churches of Gâtinais. It is equipped with a square bell tower, more recent, topped by buildings. The old steeple, of which only the base remains, seems to have been very different. The interior of the church consists of four bays, the last two of which form the choir. The sacristy was built in 1680\\. The church, which was falling into ruin, underwent major repairs in 1809\\. It seems that at the end of the 15th century, the church was so poor that the holy sacrament could not be preserved there.
