History of Dublin through Walks and Talks
Join us on UCD's Beautiful campus for a taster talk with our brilliant Lifelong Learning tutor Áinnle O'Neill as he gives a taster talk on his highly popular Lifelong Learning course 'A History of Dublin through Walks and Talks' Many of us take walking tours of foreign cities, yet we seldom stop and observe our capital city. This course covers how Dublin grew from a small river crossing to the second city of the British Empire. The walks on Saturday and the Thursday talks aim to give participants an appetite for further exploration of Dublin. Áinnle O'Neill is a retired school principal, who used his native Dublin and its environs as a resource throughout his teaching career. He attained a B.A. from UCD in History and Politics and an Honours M.A.in Local History from NUIM. He has taught many Lifelong Learning courses in UCD over the years which sell out every term. If you would like to book your seat for this taster talk, please book on our website at the link below or give us a call on 01 716 7123 We hope to see you there! -The Access & Lifelong Learning Team
