During the late Middle Ages and modern times, Karrantza was a important educational enclave thanks to the San Lorenzo School, located in the Ahedo district. It was dedicated to the teaching of Latin and
grammar, and subsequently allowed young people to access studies
superiors.

Today it is part of the Historical Heritage of the Valley and not only because of the school, but for the life and adventures of its founder: Don Diego de Ahedo, which we will discover. During this activity we will visit the remains of the school and we will learn part of Karrantza's history.
