The History of Medicine Museum, located in the only Hôtel-Dieu in Nouvelle Aquitaine, was founded in 1994 and today contains more than 6500 medical and surgical instruments and over 2000 books. On the ground floor, the visitor discovers the historical setting of the building, the chapel, and a room dedicated to religious vestments. The upper floor has exhibitions dedicated to Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicine and surgery.
