This is a new venue for 2025.
Nestled on a scenic bend of the River Deveron, the church has long been a place of meditation and reflection, with its roots stretching back over a millennium. The current church building, constructed in 1881 by A & W Reid of Elgin, showcases Gothic architectural features including pointed-arch windows and a timber gallery supported by cast-iron columns. The belfry, dated 1638, crowns the session house and hints at an earlier ecclesiastical structure on the site.
Today, the kirk is lovingly maintained by the Inverkeithny Kirk Preservation Trust, a registered Scottish charity founded in 2009. Their mission is to preserve the building’s fabric and make it available for community events, occasional services, and cultural gatherings, ensuring its legacy continues to inspire both locals and visitors.
Over the event weekend members of the Trust will be on hand to provide behind the scenes tours and share with visitors the wealth of knowledge of both the church and the graveyard.
