MERINO´S ITINERARY

On this itinerary, we will explore the different types of rural and urban settlements that developed in the region over time. During this afternoon tour, we will learn about the unique social and political organizations that Duranguesado had in relation to Bizkaia: the brotherhoods, the anteiglesias (parishes), the Gerediaga Assembly House, the House of Justice, and the mansions of the great families, as well as the origin of Duranguesado itself.

We will visit the San Juan de Momoitio Hermitage, "Elizabarri," the Abadiño Meeting Hall, the Muntsaratz Tower, and many other landmarks. The tour will begin in Abadiño, where we will board a free bus that will return to the town at the end of the itinerary.

ITINERARIO DEL MERINO

Itinerario guiado En este itinerario conoceremos los diferentes tipos de asentamientos rurales y urbanos que se fueron desarrollando en el territorio a lo largo del tiempo. A través de este recorrido que se prolongará por la tarde, conoceremos las organizaciones sociales y políticas específicas que el Duranguesado tuvo con respecto a Bizkaia: las cofradías, las anteiglesias, la Casa de Juntas de Gerediaga, la Casa de Justicia y las casas de las grandes familias, así como el propio origen del Duranguesado. 

Conoceremos la ermita de San Juan de Momoitio, “Elizabarri”, la Sala de Reuniones de Abadiño, la torre de Muntsaratz y un largo etcétera. El recorrido empezará en Abadiño, donde cogeremos un autobús gratuíto que regresará al pueblo al finalizar el itinerario.

MERINOAREN IBILBIDEA

Ibilbide honekin lurraldean denborarekin garatzen joan ziren landa- eta hiri-ezarkuntza mota desberdinak ezagutuko ditugu. Egun osoko ibilbide honetan Durangaldek Bizkaiarekiko izandako gizarte eta politikaantolamendu bereziak ezagutuko ditugu: kofradiak, elizateak, Gerediagako Batzarrak, Auzitegi etxea, famili handien etxeak eta Durangaldeko sorrera. 

Leku hauek ezagutuko ditugu, besteak beste: Momoitioko San Joan baseliza, “Elizabarri”, Abadiñoko batzar-aretoa eta Muntsaratz dorrea. Abadiñon hasiko da ibilbidea, eta herrian autobus bat hartuko dugu (doan), ibilbidea amaitzean, herrira itzuliko dena.
