6 September 2025 (10:30 - 16:00) Johnstone History Museum showcases the rich history of the burgh of Johnstone, with a particular focus on the town's industrial heritage. Displays feature photographs, maps, and artifacts related to both well-known industries, such as the Patons shoelace factory, and lesser-known ones like the mousetrap factory. The museum will be open, with knowledgeable volunteers available to answer any questions. Additionally, there will be a quiz sheet for children, offering small prizes for completed entries.
