The Kelvingrove Bandstand is a historic outdoor venue in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park, known for its unique amphitheatre design and vibrant musical history.
Originally built in 1924, it fell into disrepair but was meticulously restored in 2014. Now, it hosts a wide range of events, including concerts, festivals, and cinema screenings.

Overview
2024 was the 100th anniversary of the construction of Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre. It’s also 10 years since a £2 million investment project which saw restoration to secure its future for the 21st century.
Over the past 100 years, locals and visitors to the city have made many happy memories of gigs and shows at the bandstand. Exploring the City Archives and various other resources, we've put together the story of the Kelvingrove Park and its bandstand.
