Kemnay Village Hall is a granite building built in a traditional style around 1878 by a group of local businessmen. In 1950 it was presented to villagers, and a Trust was formed along with a Management Committee. The hall has seen a few extensions added to enhance the community space over the years and now provides a modern useable space with 3 rooms for hire. It is a bit of a tardis and well worth exploring to appreciate. The hall is managed today by Kemnay Village Hall Management Committee, a Registered Charity in Scotland.
The many and varied groups that meet at the Hall will be showcasing their activities. Old photos of Kemnay adorn the walls and archives will be available for viewing. Visitors will be welcome to take a self guided tour and there will be refreshments to enjoy.
