6 September 2025 (10:00 - 16:00) The Kinloch Historical Society will provide free entry into our museum on Saturday 06 September from 10am–4pm. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history, heritage and culture of the area through engagement with our open exhibitions, digital boards and knowledgeable staff. Our exhibitions include: social history, emigration, land wars, Seaforth Mackenzie's, transport and The Arnish Moor Man. The Arnish Moor Man is a once in a generation exhibition with items on loan from National Museums Scotland, telling the story of a body discovered in the 1960s on Arnish Moor. The body dates to the early 1700s, the circumstances of the individuals death and identity remaining a mystery. Outside water tap available for people to fill up their water bottles. Cafe open 12noon-2pm for lunch.
