A professional lecture intended for participants in architectural heritage protection presents acts of the Council of Europe that recognize the importance of architectural heritage at the European level. Three important anniversaries are marked: 50 years of the European Charter on Architectural Heritage (Strasbourg, 1975), 40 years of the Convention for the Protection of European Architectural Heritage (Granada, 1985) and 20 years of the Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society (Faro, 2005). The program includes presentation of the institutional framework for protection in Croatia and the Geoportal of Cultural Goods as a publicly available tool. After the lecture, a professional discussion on key challenges in heritage protection is held.
