The lecture explores the connection between architectural and intangible heritage through the literary work of Pavao Pavličić, one of the most important Croatian authors, born in Vukovar. Through the works Šapudl, Vukovar Postcards and Danube, it examines how literature documents and brings to life the way of life within spaces and Vukovar architecture. Pavličić through his prose records details of urban life - streets, houses, schools, courtyards - that reflect social and cultural changes through the perspective of childhood.
