As part of the European Heritage Days 2024, Veliki Tabor Castle will hold a diverse program on the theme of witchcraft. The program includes a lecture on the history of witch hunts in Europe and Croatia, the presentation of a leaflet on witch hunts at the Veliki Tabor estate from 1744, and several creative workshops. Participants will be able to take part in the “Dress Veronica!” workshop, where they will make a dress for Veronica out of paper, and in the “No Torture!” workshop, where they will design softened versions of torture devices. Finally, everyone will be able to tour the exhibits and displays with expert guidance from the curators.
