The lectures will present decorative details in houses built by architect Rudolf Lubynski, which to this day testify to the quality and stylistic integrity of Lubynski's architecture that we strive to valorize in order to preserve its originality and uniqueness. Special emphasis of the lectures is placed on facades, their semantic layers and possibilities of reading them in a broader social and urban context. Also, the lectures will reflect on the role of these elements in contemporary evaluation and preservation, on the interesting aspects of their restoration and on sustainable care for urban heritage.
