Days of Ivanec embroidery event focuses on Ivanec embroidery which characterises the folk costume of Koprivnički Ivanec. Event will include a lecture on Ivanec embroidery and several workshops, such as making of the motif vurica. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition of works by embroiderers from the Society of authentic folklore of Koprivnički Ivanec, an exhibition of originals of embroidered parts of Ivanec costume and an exhibition of a guest association of holders of protection of original embroidered skills. As part of the event there will also be presented different solutions for applying Ivanec embroidery to contemporary functional and decorative items and souvenirs.
