Overview

Listed as a historical monument, the Forest Farm is an authentic Bresse half-timbered farmhouse from the end of the 16th century. Its Saracen chimney, as well as the gallery and its lattice balustrade, bear witness to remarkable architecture. The main house reveals a traditional Bressan interior of the nineteenth century with its everyday objects, its furniture, and the evocation of local customs. The visit continues with the barn and the extensive collection of old tools and agricultural machinery. Finally, a break in the outdoors conducive to strolling around the vegetable garden, the orchard with its old varieties, the cultivation of corn and hemp and the farmyard. Throughout the season, a rich and varied programme of activities is offered: from major national events to the traditional Vincuit Festival, games or demonstrations of old-fashioned crafts, animated Wednesdays all summer, tales of autumn or Halloween.... young and old meet at the Ferme de la Forêt for moments of sharing a
