Born in the hamlet of Les Granges in 1915, Marius Hudry was the main historian of the Belleville Valley in the 20th century. His passion for heritage and his love of Savoy were the driving forces behind a life at the service of the common good. With this conference, the Académie de la Val d'Isère wishes to pay tribute to the work of Abbé Hudry while offering the public a true reading of the history of the Belleville thanks to the work of the latter and the archaeological discoveries he highlighted and which make today the subject of new academic research.
