Overview

The existence of Maison Brillet began more than 300 years ago, with Guy Brillet founding father of the vineyard in the very heart of the Cognac region. The story is often written in pairs, it is with Vivien, 7th generation, supported by his sweet wife, that the House Brillet settles in Graves-Saint-Amant, in the locality called Aireaux. In 1850, he and Anna decided to set up the cellars and the distillery in this charming town, bordered by the bucolic Charente. The family vineyard is also expanded. Driven by the same passion, Jean-Louis Brillet, 10th generation, is passionately involved in the influence of the appellation and the estate, with the desire to offer a distinctive product. Thus in 1985 is created the Belle de Brillet whose name pays tribute to his «Belle», his wife Isabelle: unique liqueur marrying Pear and Cognac with a very distinctive bottle in the shape of pear, it is appreciated as a digestive as an aperitif (on ice or cocktail).
