13 September 2025 (10:00 - 16:00) Lodge TS John Maybole No.11 is a Masonic Lodge which is the meeting place for Freemasons. The Lodge is a daughter lodge of the Grand Lodge of Scotland which is a registered charity. This is one of the oldest masonic lodges in the country. Its written records go back to 1725 and in consequence it is celebrating 300 years of practice this year. In reality it is likely to be even older as a document of 1599 suggests its existence then. Visit for a guided history of the lodge including access to historical records, lodge artifacts and a description of the charitable events which have been carried out by freemasonry in Ayrshire and Maybole. The lodge is on the first floor of the building and is only accessible by stairs.
