MARITIME HERITAGE OF THE DOCK OF VILLEFRANCHE-SUR-MER
Guided tours of the various buildings of the former Port Royal of the House of Savoy, including the vaults, one of the first buildings built on the dock, with today the suspended garden by the architect Eugène Beaudouin, overhanging. The site will be exceptionally open to the public for a guided tour during the heritage days. The visits are provided by volunteer members of the Association for the Safeguarding of Maritime Heritage of Villefranche-sur-Mer (ASPMV) in partnership with the Departmental Council. Meet under the last vault, ceiling colored in lapis-lazuli blue. Informations free, registration on the Department’s website, subject to availability.
