The Croatian Ethnological Society celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Pokuplje expedition, a field trip to the Pokuplje villages that was carried out in 1923 by Vladimir Tkalčić and Milovan Gavazzi. During the expedition research provided valuable material for the collections of the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of Arts and Crafts. On the occasion of marking this important anniversary, the Croatian Ethnological Society organizes a one-day professional excursion that includes a historical tour by the žitna lađa (grain boat) Zora, a visit to the Donja Kupčina Homeland Museum and the City Museum Sisak, and also guided tour through the virtual exhibition Pokuplje expedition.
