¿Quién no se para a escuchar por una calle del Casco Viejo de Bilbao cuando se oye a un grupo de vecinos, txikiteros, ochotes cantar una bilbainada? Nadie ¿verdad?

La bilbainada es un registro, en texto y musicado, de usos y costumbres de la Villa que de forma lúdica y cantada ha dado información de cosas típicas que ocurren en nuestro entorno vecinal. Los tiempos han cambiado, y es lógico y muy saludable que la bilbainada lo refleje; exponiendo en sus letras ese cambio que la sociedad está experimentando. Dar cabida a la presencia de la mujer, a la igualdad, a la brecha de género, o a feminizar el callejero que nomina las calles de nuestros barrios y nuestro ámbito cercano, es una deuda que hay que saldar. Qué mejor manera que de la mano de Daniela Bartolomé, Bilbo Zaharrak, la música, y el propio vecindaje, unido para cantar y divertirse.

Who doesn't stop to listen to a group of neighbors, txikiteros, ochotes singing a bilbainada on a street in the Casco Viejo of Bilbao? Nobody, right?

The bilbainada is a record, in text and music, of uses and customs of the Villa that in a playful and sung way has given information of typical things that happen in our neighborhood environment. The times have changed, and it is logical and very healthy that the bilbainada reflects it; exposing in his letters this change that the society is experiencing. To give place to the presence of women, to equality, to the gender gap, or to feminize the street map that names the streets of our neighborhoods and our close environment, is a debt that must be paid. What better way than with Daniela Bartolomé, Bilbo Zaharrak, music, and the neighborhood itself, united to sing and have fun.
