Find out what is involved in an archaeological excavation by digging for artefacts at a specially prepared site and learn about recording your findings. This event will be led by archaeologist Elaine Lynch (Field Monument Advisor for County Clare) in collaboration with Burrenbeo Trust staff. Suitable for ages 5 to 12 years.

Times: morning session (10.00-11.30am) OR afternoon session (1.00-2.30pm)
Booking is free but essential. Please note:
Parents or guardians need to stay with their children for the duration of the workshop
This is an outdoor event so participants need to dress appropriately for the weather and bring snacks, water as required
Only book tickets for the number of attending children. No need to book tickets for the adults
