In 2022, Franck Lamy invited Karina Bisch and Nicolas Chardon to the MAC VAL for a duo exhibition entitled Modern Lovers. He has known the two artists since 1997 and knows how their individual work, side by side or in common, has developed over all these years. For the launch of their residency, Franck Lamy comes to present what nourished their works, and in particular the question of avant-gardes, abstraction and place.
