The Mostown Estate at Kenagh Co Longford is steeped in heritage and the rural community that once thrived here deserve to be remembered along with the built Heritage that now survives today.

We invite members of the community to come and see the newly restored Lime Kiln and take a nice walk through the Lime Tree avenue and the Mosstown Estate, we will have a local tour guide Paddy Egan to talk us through the landmarks and refreshments & music afterwards.

If you are new to the area or have a particular interest in walkways and our heritage we promise an evening to enjoy. Irish Forestry Union Trust will be represented also as they worked on the restoration of the Lime Kiln along with Longford Co Co.

The event takes place on Sunday 25th August at 5pm at Mosstown Kenagh Co Longford. We welcome everyone .
