«Mue» show with Marie Haffa
In an estate of six hectares located at the gates of Lyon, the Château de Machy is a heritage whose history goes back to 1002\\. Property of the monks of the Ainay Abbey and then of Lyon families: Guerrier, Laurencin and Morand de Jouffrey, this protected site, backed by the Monts d'Or offers an exceptional setting and a remarkable view of the Val de Saône, the Tombs and the Monts du Beaujolais. Today recognized as the Maison-Théâtre de Machy, it is one of those places that propose to cultivate an art of living both in respect of architecture and nature as well as in the requirement of artistic work and daily life. The Maison-Théâtre de Machy is the place of creation, training and production of the Compagnie de théâtre professionnelle La Première Seconde. It gives its shows as a preview, organises the Summer Evenings of the Machy Castle, courses and trainings, and offers cultural events such as the European Heritage Days.
