Join us at the Carrowmore Megalithic Complex for a unique outdoor traditional music recital amongst the ancient neolithic burial chambers. Multi-instrumentalist OPW guide Martin Byrne will give a demonstration of three instruments used in Irish traditional music - fiddle, tenor banjo and uilleann pipes. Martin will also relate some of the stories and folklore associated with the tunes he plays. Entry free - no booking required. This is an informal outdoor - and therefore weather dependent - event.
