Overview

The Puy de Wolf, is the largest Serpentinite massif in Europe. It is classified as a Natura 2000 zone. The slopes of the Puy de Wolf are home to rare and original plants because the rock itself is rare: it is serpentinite, formed in the early ages of the earth and by nature poorly adapted to plants. Some species such as the Euphorbia de Costes are endemic. At the top, you will find a beautiful panorama of the valley and an orientation table. In the summer months, outings are organized on the site.
