To celebrate National Heritage Week 2025, St John’s Point Lightkeepers’ Houses in Co. Donegal will be open on Sunday 24th August from 10am to 4pm. This is a free event offering a self-guided tour of the restored houses beside one of Ireland’s longest peninsulas. Visitors can enjoy the scenic surroundings while exploring the conservation work undertaken by Irish Landmark Trust. Visitors cannot park inside the compound. There is parking outside of the compound - please be advised there are animals grazing about this area. No dogs allowed. Children should be accompanied at all times. Spaces are limited.
