Overview

You will be able to discover the interior of the old mansion (XV°), the history of the house, its remarkable characters from the origins to today and the stages of its reconstruction. The current construction was successively transmitted by women from the origins (1400) until 1835. There succeeded the families Le Nepvou, Urvoy, Perrien then Bellingant... In the 17th century, Pierre de Perrien, Marquis de Crenan and court man of Louis XIV had an architectural ensemble and a remarkable park. The statues of Pierre de Perrien, his father Maurice, and their wives long outside the walls have regained their original place and now embellish the garden with their presence. The castle accidentally burned down in 1927. In recent years the current owners (family of Beauregard) have continued reconstruction or consolidation works. Informations The castle will therefore be exceptionally open during the European Heritage Days, free admission.
