This is an ideal opportunity to get a flavour of the work carried out by specialist conservators and restorers on furniture and wooden objects. Conservation|Letterfrack have a range of clients from The National Museum of Ireland, Muckross House and many private clients and Historic Houses. This day will give visitors a unique insight into how our heritage is treated to conserve it for future generations.

The visitor will experience first hand some of the traditional woodworking techniques and modern approaches in object conservation to help to understand the complexity of the work and research carried out by the workshop. Visitors can also use the opportunity to talk to a furniture specialist and get advice on the care of your treasured antiques.
