Open day at the gardens of the Résidence de France in Malta
The Embassy of France in Malta is happy to open its doors to the public.
The Résidence de France, located in a small ‘rural palazzo’ in Zebbug, was built in 1716 by one of the island's aristocratic families, the Manducas.
The building, with its very simple architecture on the street side, opens onto a 2,000 m² multi-level garden at the rear. This unique space is home to many plant species typical of Malta and the Mediterranean. All these trees provide walkers with shade and fragrance, oxygen and tranquillity.
