Open door of the Éveha de Rennes Archaeological Study Office
Inaugurated in 2010, the Éveha agency in Rennes opens its doors to the general public for the first time, with the aim of enhancing the work of its teams, particularly during post-archaeological excavations. Following the preventive excavations carried out upstream of a site, all the remains uncovered are studied in the laboratory by researchers and technicians, specialists in fields as vast as they are sharp. Ceramologists, anthracologists, archaeologists or anthropologists... come together to analyze and understand the traces left by the societies of the past and thus restore history. On 21 September, on the occasion of the Heritage Days, discover how our specialists work, their modus operandi and their greatest discoveries. Fun workshops will be set up for the youngest.
