Inaugurated in September 2021, the Espace Joséphine Baker offers a social and cultural offer accessible to as many people as possible. It is home to the CAEL (Centre Animation Expression & Loisirs) which is both a MJC and a social centre. Run by volunteers, with the help of a team of professionals, the CAEL is a place of personal development and discovery through the practice of artistic, playful, sports or educational workshops. At the request of the city, the centre takes over the annual programming of cultural events. The two most important are the Festival of Humour which takes place at the end of January and Musicael, a music and song festival which takes place in late March, early April.
