Opening of heritage sites - Moulin
His story: 1839: the mill appears in the cadastre under the name of Jean François Pellegrin, baker. 1932: The testimonies collected by Rodolphe Bringer mention as the last operator a man named Pierre Pommier, who allegedly died "victim of a terrible accident caused by his Mill (...): the wings came to rest, fell". In 2011-2012, under the auspices of the architect Fabien Ramadier, the tower is restored, an archaeological excavation is planned and carried out by the company Archéodunum, the Garibal company based in the Southwest which had already worked for the mill of Vénéjan, is responsible for producing the fireworks, the roof, which will once again allow the mill to function with the force of the wind. It is nevertheless also equipped with an engine that allows the wings to turn without wind power and to orient the roof. To save the engine, the principle of the sleeper path pads on which it originally glided is abandoned. Pétanque balls come as replacements.
