Opening of heritage sites - Provençal village
History It was in 1983 that Aimé and Simone Brun started their crèche at the request of their daughter. Simone Brun made the clay santons, painted and dressed them and Aimé Brun took care of motorizing them. Year after year, the crèche has expanded and occupied different places before finding its definitive setting on rue Pierre Semard. In 2011, this Provençal village becomes municipal. It is restored and expanded. On an area of 40m 2, you will discover a village with 341 santons including 114 animated (the bugadières, the baker, the potter, the blacksmith...) with some historical sites of the city of Pierrelatte as the Rock, the Clock Tower, the Chapel of the Penitents... Come admire the remarkable work of Mr. and Mrs. Brun, nothing is forgotten and everything seems real, to the delight of young and old alike...
