This free workshop is specifically designed for beginners who are interested in learning more about oral history and how to use it for historical research through recorded interviews. This foundation workshop will guide you through some of the key issues to consider when using oral history and offers an introduction to project planning, the ethical considerations, interview techniques and potential outputs.

This event is part of the Heritage Council Stewardship 2024 funded project to digitise part of Donegal County Archives' oral history recordings.
