In the internet age, new tools are always coming to light through which our heritage can be explored and displayed. The Oughterard Storymap project is the next exciting step in this journey for the local area.

During this event Jack Connolly, with the Oughterard Culture and Heritage Group, will give a talk on what a Storymap is, what benefits it will bring to the community, and how they can be used to augment your experience and learning regarding Oughterard’s Heritage.

Following this, a live example and tutorial will be given in the usage of a Storymap, which will help to prepare for the launch of Oughterard’s own Heritage Trail Storymap later this year.
