Seven thousand years of Dalj's history encompasses rich architecture from the Neolithic to contemporary cultural monuments. The most important historical buildings still survive, such as the Orthodox Cathedral Church, the Patriarchal Palace and the Catholic Church. This year's program of the Đorđe Ocić Association, through book promotion about Dalj houses, workshops on research of Dalj's architectural history, lectures and exhibitions, emphasizes the importance of preserving historical buildings, because only on those historical foundations can new spaces be created.
