6 September 2025 (10:00 - 15:00) Shopmobility Renfrewshire is a UK award-winning charity. Shopmobility Renfrewshire provides four services to people with mobility disabilities in Renfrewshire to help them to move around and participate fully in social, economic and cultural activities.

1. Free daily hire of traditional wheelchairs, powerchairs (electric wheelchairs) and electric mobility scooters. We offer longer term hires at a low cost.
2. Repairs/maintenance service.
3. Arrange opportunities for clients/public to attend events and enjoy the culture and social opportunities available in Renfrewshire.
4. Advocate for anyone with a mobility disability. This includes comprehensive accessibility surveys. For the Doors Open Days: We will have scooters and electric wheelchairs available, along with a driving course set up on the top floor of the car park. This is a great opportunity for individuals to learn how to use our equipment safely. Wilson, our technician, will manage the course, while Tommy, our Health and Safety Director, will be on hand to support participants and answer any questions about using the equipment. Additionally, we will offer refreshments and a comfortable area in our office for anyone who would like to chat. We are committed to supporting everyone with mobility matters, so please feel free to drop by and see us. Our health and safety video will also be available for anyone interested.
