Overview

The MJC Lillebonne is located in a remarkable architectural complex, the Hotel de Lillebonne, part of the historical heritage of the city of Nancy. Throughout the year, it organizes and hosts a large number of events, exhibitions, conferences, shows and also accompanies the activity of many associations. It is one of the oldest stately homes in old Nancy. Its style and all of its architecture testify to a construction of the late sixteenth century. Built partly on the site of the former Maison des Etuves Municipales, the current hotel was built by Claude de Beauvau in 1578, then sold to the Duke of Lorraine. Given by Duke Charles IV to his daughter Anne, wife of the Prince of Lillebonne, it was inherited by the Princess of Epinoy who sold it 1740\\. It was the daughters of the Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul who bought it in 1826, thus expanding their real estate complex.
