La Cure, located next to the church, invites you to discover the city’s new collection of paintings and posters related to the mountains, as well as the works of Father Kim en Joong who created the stained glass windows of the church of Saint-Gervais. Rebuilt in 1847, the presbytery of Saint-Gervais is renovated in 2022 to become La Cure, the new cultural center of the town. Preserving a collection of paintings and iconography of mountains, the works of Father Kim En Joong, and the collection of mountain works of Maurice Lenoir, it testifies to the history of our valleys. La Cure retains its welcoming role and also presents all the cultural and heritage routes to be discovered in Saint-Gervais and Valgrisenche, Valdotain partner of the ITINERAS Passerelle project. Paintings, engravings, drawings and watercolors signed by the greatest names in mountain painting, such as Abrate, Poignant, Wibault, Bouillette, Samivel and other renowned illustrators, adorn the walls of the exhibition room
