Overview

Why and how did Fougerolles become the capital of kirsch? This is the question that Philippe Gustin has tried to answer through the history of his family, from the 17th century to the present day. He carried out a real work of the ants by stripping down archival documents that reveal the behaviors, actions and gestures of a Fougerolsian population still marked today by a strong rural identity, linked to the production and marketing of fruit spirits. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Philippe Gustin will present his book at a conference. Informations Free entry
