The ensemble La Rebelle was founded in 2020 under the impetus of flutist Hélène Cousin with Sungmin Son, flautist, and Sylvie Bretagne, harpsichordist, all three former students from the Conservatoire Paris Saclay’s Department of Early Music and musicians from the Orchestre Baroque de l'Essonne. The ensemble plays on copies of ancient instruments. It performs in Normandy and the Paris region.
