En Euskadi siempre hemos sentido una conexión especial con la naturaleza. Gran parte de nuestra cultura (por ejemplo, la mitología, los bailes y la música) es una expresión de nuestra identidad, identidad que hemos forjado y definido con esa relación especial con nuestro patrimonio natural. Las romerías, el montañismo, el conocimiento de nuestra flora, la explotación sostenible de nuestros bosques son prácticas habituales e intangibles que forman parte de nuestro patrimonio inmaterial, ya que proporciona a nuestras comunidades un sentimiento de identidad y de continuidad.
En esta maravillosa ruta disfrutaremos de los interminables hayedos y las piedras cubiertas de musgo dibujan un paisaje similar en todas las direcciones. Algunas, con más de un metro de altura, forman un bello paisaje conocido como laberinto de Arno. ¿Es el ser humano quien construye está imagen o es la naturaleza la que despierta nuestra imaginación?
