Overview

The farm of Plessis is one of the most important firm history of Eure-et-Loir. Dominated by its donjon and flanked(thrown) by turrets, it overhangs the valley of Eure, in the edge between three countries(soils), Thymerais, the Perche(Perch) and Beauce. Listed(Classified) in the circuit of the strengthened farms, she(it) understands(includes) more than 3000 m ² of buildings(ships) on more than 6 hectares. Already mentioned at the beginning of the XIIIth century, the Farm of Plessis developed in the XVth and XVIth century, with the construction of the main building called "squared Donjon Henry IV". In May, 2002 this farm was acquired by the association ETW-FRANCE, and the official ashram of Amma in France became. Belonging to the circuit of the strengthened farms, this superb place is restored little by little respecting the protection(saving) of heritage and done up in model ecological site.
Access
A une vingtaine de kilomètres de Chartres, sur la D920 en provenance de Courville-sur-Eure, dans le virage à droite direction le Plessis juste avant le village de Pontgouin.
