Rathmullan’s Coastal Nature
Join Aengus Kennedy of NatureNorthWest for an exploration of nature where Rathmullan meets the sea. Starting at the low tide mark, we will explore some intertidal species that thrive in Lough Swilly, followed by a walk to the sand dune forming plants and finishing by walking through the dunes, seeing how the plants change until they give way to woodlands that dominate Batt's walks nature.
Suitable for 8 years and upwards, please bring good walking shoes as the trails will be wet and rough underfoot. No dogs please.
This National Heritage Week event has been organised by Donegal County Council Biodiversity Office with funding support from The Heritage Council, through the County Biodiversity Action Plan programme.
